tratados com uma associação ribavirina e alfa-INF tiveram melhor sobrevida, porém
não há evidência ainda para sustentar o uso para infecção por SARS-COV-2 (DIAS
et al, 2020).
Esses estudos sugerem melhores resultados em grupos de pacientes com
COVID-19 tratados com a associação de medicamentos antivirais e Interferons
(administração nebulizada ou subcutânea) ou Interferon sozinho em comparação
com medicamentos antivirais sozinhos. No entanto, até o momento, faltam estudos
bem desenhados em grandes populações (BARTOLI et al, 2021).

4 RESULTADOS
Foram identificados 1.259 artigos, sendo 288 (22,9%) publicados em 2020,
838 (66,6%) em 2021 e 133 (10,6%) em 2022. No total, os estudos foram publicados
em 471 revistas, com coautoria de 16.482 pesquisadores, filiados em 5.560
instituições e de 66 países.
Os 10 autores mais produtivos na literatura sobre estratégias de tratamento
para a COVID-19 são apresentados na Tabela 1, juntamente com seus respectivos
países, instituições e índice-H. A média de artigos publicados e do índice-H é de 19
e 13, respectivamente. Do grupo dos dez autores mais citados, nove pertencem a
instituições localizadas na China.
