LISTA DE SIGLAS
This work is a case report of a patient with psychotic symptoms that manifested after
a neurological procedure for draining an intracranial abscess. Information was
obtained by reviewing the medical records, interviewing the patient, obtaining
imaging tests and reviewing the literature. The reported case and published
publications bring to light the discussion of the therapy of a complex situation, since
behavioral changes and the onset of psychosis after neurological damage are rare
but have a great impact on the quality of life of the individual and his family.
