Write an essay giving your opinion about the use of animals in scientific research.

Usar animais nas pesquisas cientificas, hoje em dia, é comum mas tem se tornado um assunto
de debate. Umas pessoas acham que é necessário para o avanço na ciência outras acham que
é cruel e desumano fazer certas coisas aos animais. Eu acredito que há maneiras para não
utilizar os animais ou pelos menos diminuir a sua utilização.

Em primeiro lugar, eu acredito que seja essencial fazer alguns testes nos animais pois eles são
o ser vivo mais parecido com os humanos porém, tal como nos, eles tem sentimentos e certos
teste pode os magoar ou até matar.

No entanto, fazer certas experiencias com eles é cruel, apático, insensível, abusivo e ate
mesmo ganancioso. Porém, acho que podemos tentar combater isto ao máximo, de maneira
que não se utilize os animais como objetos ou pelo menos diminuir o seu uso, sendo utilizados
só em necessidade extrema, mas com regras. Umas das regras poderia ser utilizar animais que
estejam no final da sua vida.

Em conclusão, sou contra a utilização dos animais para pesquisas cientificas, devemos procurar
outras soluções para evitar dor e sofrimentos nos animais.

Using animals in scientific research today is common but has become a subject of debate.
Some people think it's necessary for the advancement of science, others think it's cruel and
inhumane to do certain things to animals. I believe there are ways to not use animals or at
least reduce their use.

In the first place , I believe it is essential to do some tests on animals because they are the
living being most similar to humans but, like us, they have feelings and certain tests can hurt or
even kill them.

However, experimenting on them is cruel, apathetic, insensitive, abusive, and even greedy.
However, I think we can try to fight this as much as possible, so that animals are not used as
objects or at least reduce their use, being used only in extreme need, but with rules. One of
the rules could be to use animals that are at the end of their life.

In conclusion, I am against the use of animals for scientific research, we must look for other
solutions to avoid pain in animals.
