ANTIFREEZE - USAGE
In used engines, before using antifreeze for the first time, it is necessary to
thoroughly flush the cooling system and
check for leakage.
Fill the radiator with the necessary quantity of antifreeze and complete with clean
water. Start the engine and run until normal operating temperature is achieved.
Check the coolant level and add water/
antifreeze as required.

DIESEL FUEL
The oil Diesel used at MWM INTERNATIONAL engines, must meet the

The Cloud Point (start of paraffin precipitation) must be under any operating
temperature and the cetane number
should not be lower than 46.
At very low temperatures, generally
under + 1C (34F), when paraffin precipitates, 50% by volume of kerosene can
be added to the Diesel fuel to prevent
clogging.
In order to obtain a homogeneous mixture, when refilling, first add the kerosene,
due to its lower specific gravity, and then
complete with Diesel fuel.
The engine must operate with this mixture only at low temperatures, being
unadvisable for other conditions.

Para mantener los motores que trabajan por cortos perodos entre grandes
intervalos de tiempo, recomendamos los
siguientes cuidados:
In order to maintain engines that operate for short periods with long inactive
intervals, we recommend the following:
1. leo lubrificante
1. Aceite lubricante
2. Testes peridicos
Recomendamos o funcionamento do
motor uma ou mais vezes por semana,
durante um perodo mnimo de uma
hora, trabalhando com carga (acima de
70%) para o motor atingir a temperatura
de trabalho e garantir o nvel de carga
de bateria.

54
1. Lubricant oil
If the total operating hours do not achieve
the hours in the maintenance schedule,
change oil each 6 (six) months.
2. Exercise the engine periodically.
We recommend the engine be exercised
one or more times per week during,
which, one hour is run with load (over
than 70%) in order to achieve normal
operating temperatures and allow the
battery to charge.
3. Drain the water from the fuel filters
and tank.
Before starting the engine, always drain
and bleed the fuel system.
