Senhores,

Encontro-me neste momento a finalizar a licenciatura em Psicologia, pelo que penso que seria a
melhor altura para ingressar numa experiência tão enriquecedora quanto a que estão a oferecer,
antes de avançar para o mestrado, já que conto com algumas ferramentas que penso poderem
contribuir para os programas aos quais me candidato.

Ser estudante de Psicologia, ajudou-me a desenvolver capacidades e conhecimentos que penso

serem uma mais valia para estes programas de voluntariado, uma vez que as minhas áreas de
interesse, dentro e fora da vida académica, sempre foram o social, as comunidades e o homem
enquanto ser individual.

“É preciso uma aldeia para educar uma criança”, é com este “olhar africano”, que percepciono o que
seria o auge de uma educação saudável e completa. Estando num mundo onde o individualismo é a
ordem do dia, ter a oportunidade de me envolver com diferentes culturas, seria algo extraordinário
que há muito ambiciono. Ter a honra de me poder envolver na educação de outros seres, seria um
objetivo alcançado.

Ao longo do meu percurso académico envolvi me e comprometi me para com a minha faculdade,
fazendo parte do conselho pedagógico e enquanto delegada durantes os anos de licenciatura, estas
posições obrigaram-me a estar, muitas vezes sem que me apercebesse, em posições de liderança e
de resolução de conflitos, bem como a ser bastante pró-ativa, aptidões estas que acho essenciais
para quem se candidata a este tipo de programas.

Desde cedo, que as causas e problemas sociais me apaixonam, a minha perspetiva de vida passa
essencialmente pela “comunhão” com o outro, a troca dos diferentes saberes e estares na vida.
Acredito que deveríamos ouvir muito mais os anciães que nos rodeiam ao longo da vida e manter
por perto as crianças que tão vitais são, para nos relembrarem da importância dos sonhos.

Considero me uma pessoa ativa, idealista, sem medo de “meter as mãos à obra”, gostaria que me
dessem oportunidade de o demonstrar.

Seria um gosto e Honra poder crescer sobre o vosso teto, pelo que me candidato as vagas do
programa de Áustria na delegação de Eferding e Baden, bem como ao programa do Reino Unido.

I'm currently finishing my bachelor degree in Psychology, so I thought it would be the best time to
apply for such an enriching experience as the one you are offering, before moving on to the master's
degree. I believe I possess some valuable skills that would contribute greatly to the programs to
which I am applying.

Being a psychology student made me develop important skills and knowledge that I think could be
an asset for this volunteer program's. In fact, my areas of interest, within and outside the academic
life, have always been the social part, the communities and the man as an individual being.

As the African saying goes, “It takes a village to educate a child”. This perspective I believe can be the
key to a healthy and complete education. Living in a world where individualism is the order of the
day, I perceive the opportunity to get involved with different cultures as something be something
utterly extraordinary and necessary, plus it's something I've been longing for. To have the honor of
actively getting involved in the growth of other human beings would be a dream come through to
me.

Throughout my student career I got deeply involved and committed to my college. I was part of the
pedagogical council and I was my class's delegate for many years. Indeed, these positions forced me
to be in leadership and conflict resolution positions, even without me realizing it, as well to be very
proactive and organized. These skills I aquired, I believe, are of crucial importance to succeed in
doing a good job on these types of projects.

From an early age, I realized I wanted to help solving causes and social problems. To me,
“communion” with the other, the exchange of different knowledge and ways of being are of
foremost importance to have a fulfilled life. I believe that we should listen way more to our elders
throughout our lives and we should keep the children near to us, in order to remind us of the
importance of dreams.

I consider myself to be an active, idealistic person, not scared of “getting my hands on the job” and
work hard. That said, I would like to kindly ask to be given an opportunity to show it.

It would be a pleasure and honor to be able to develop my skills, gain some experience and grow as
a person under your roof. So I apply for the vacancies in the UK program.
