fundamentais do processo educativo. Neste sentido, a formação docente mudanças sociais - sistemas educacionais

Abstract
The day to day changes in society push the education and educational
systems to adopt new ways of working. Each time more, schools start to
assume new functions and to amend its work. Worldwide studies and
investigations show that schools no longer are the center of knowledge
transmission and that teachers find themselves in an important time of
revaluation of their profession, in which they are recognized as the main
actors of the educational activity and not as a fundamental factor of the
educational process. In this way, teachers’ training acquires a fundamental
importance in the making of the new professional teacher. This article’s
proposal is that teachers training should start training action considering
two new tasks: the management of educational politics and the promotion
of the cross-culture.
