RESUMO
ABSTRACT
Football is one of the most recognized sports in the world, imposing on athletes an
intense physical preparation to maintain a high level of performance. It is a sport that
requires a lot of physical strength and with that the rate of injuries is very high, and
these are more present in the knee, where the anterior cruciate ligaments are the most
affected. Therefore, sports physiotherapy works in the treatment of these injured
athletes, seeking the best possible rehabilitation for their functionality. The objective of
this work was to analyze the physiotherapeutic performance in the anterior cruciate
ligament injury in soccer athletes, through a bibliographic review, using trauma-
orthopedic physiotherapy books and in electronic databases such as: GOOGLE
Academic, Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), PubMed. It was concluded
that physiotherapy plays an important role in the rehabilitation of the anterior cruciate
ligament, providing relief from symptoms and improving functionality, enabling a faster,
safer and more efficient return to sport.

do LCA.
principais recursos a cinesioterapia, a hidroterapia, crioterapia, eletroterapia, treinos
