ATENÇÃO MÉTODOS DE
APLICAÇÃO
A crioterapia produz uma severa redução na condução nervosa após
20 minutos de aplicação. Sacos ou toalhas com gelo picado;
Isso faz com que haja um déficit no controle motor, tornando o Compressas de gel;
atleta mais susceptível a lesões articulares. Compressas químicas;
Imersão;
Massagem com gelo;
Spray químico, entre outros.
SUGESTÃO DE CUIDADOS E
APLICAÇÃO CONTRAINDICAÇÕES
Pacotes de gelo: utilizar o conceito PRICE, com aplicação de gelo entre Ramos nervosos superficiais;
20 a 30 minutos, nas lesões traumáticas agudas. Repetir a cada 2 horas; Lesões abertas; Cuidados
Crioimersão: temperaturas da água de 10ºC a 15ºC, com imersão de 5 a Alterações de sensibilidade ou de cognição;
24 minutos. Este uso tem sido apontado como um bom método de Distúrbios vasoespásticos;
prevenção de dor tardia e de lesões após atividade esportiva, nos Doenças cardiovasculares;
membros inferiores. Contraindicações
Diabetes;
Criosparay: aplicar por poucos segundos, a uma distância de 10 cm ou
Doença reumatóide;
mais para evitar a necrose tecidual.
Hipersensibilidade ao frio
