items.

There are some patterns in English for nationalities but there are many exceptions. It
is best to just remember them case-by-case.

Telling time

You can use o'clock at the top of the hour, but often it is not spoken.

It is twelve o'clock. - It is twelve. / São doze horas. São doze.
It is two o'clock. - It is two. / São duas horas. São dois.

Twelve o'clock has two special names. Noon for daytime and midnight for night time.
The meeting is at noon. / A reunião é ao meio dia.
Great! See you at twelve. / Excelente! Vejo vc às doze.
I was asleep at midnight. / Eu estava dormindo à meia noite.
I was still awake at 12. / Eu ainda estava acordado às 12.

For time 30 minutes past the hour, you can use the term "half past".
