Introdução
• Instituto Nacional do Câncer (INCA) 2020: no Maranhão, o CCU ultrapassou o cancro mamário,
se tornando o mais incidente no interior do estado, atrás apenas do cancro de pele não melanoma.
• Há estudos que mostram correlação direta entre a infeção de certos subtipos de Papiloma Vírus
Humano (HPV) e a carcinogênese do CCU;
• As Espécies Reativas de Oxigénio podem causar danos irreversíveis a biomoléculas, como o ADN,
as lipoprotínas e etc.; o excesso de radicais livres e o desequilíbrio das reações de oxidação geram
o chamado Estresse Oxidativo, fator reconhecidamente presente durante à replicação tumoral
devido à redução de antioxidantes endógenos.

Parâmetros Oxidativos:
1- Taxa de Atividade Antioxidante (TAA);
2- Substâncias Reativas Ao Ácido Tiobarbitúrico (TBARS);
AVALIAÇAO POR ESPECTROFOTOMETRIA.
1- Taxa de Atividade Antioxidante (TAA): técnica descrita por Miller (1993) (com
adaptações) utiliza-se da alteração da absorbância de onda em vias de determinar
a taxa de defesa antioxidantes, após reação RedOx com ABTS+ ( 2,2-azinobis(3-
etilbenzotiazolina-acidosulfónico)).

Taxa de Defesa Antioxidante e Peroxidação Lipídica

Após análise dos dados obtidos observou-se níveis baixos da taxa de atividade antioxidante (TAA)
nas pacientes (1,76 mM) em relação ao controle (1,85 mM) (p<0,01), sem diferença na
peroxidação lipídica dos grupos (p = 0,7069) e na correlação TAA e peroxidação (0.7437)
