ABSTRACT
The difficulties in accessing the health system in the region of Manicoré - Amazonas
(AM), a riverside community, located on the banks of the Madeira River, show the
reality of care and the need to formulate a strategy that makes medical services available
to people away from home. large metropolises. The creation of the UBSF - Basic River
Health Unit 2015, represents in all its Universality the right to health of the riverside
population, being of great importance to provide care in these places as close as
possible, distribute medicines, carry out tests and take longitudinal treatment throughout
follow-up period. Through Mais Médicos 2013, a program that has a multi-professional
family health team such as: doctors, nurses, nursing technicians and oral health
technicians with the objective of working in needy communities, guaranteeing access to
basic care for the Brazilian population, in this way UBSF offers the same services
provided by UBS - Basic Health Unit on solid ground, solving needs in all its fullness,
in order to promote health by identifying and diagnosing the patient, preventing
incidence and new cases from occurring, treating in an adequate and integral and
rehabilitating for society. Therefore, it is undeniable that the services provided are
extremely important, benefiting the communities that most need the care, under the
individualized clinical view, in the resolution of problems and in the care for the lives of
the riverside people.
