 O verbo to be expressa dois significados: ser ou estar.
I am a student. Eu sou um aluno.
I am in school. Eu estou na escola.
 O verbo to be em Inglês se divide em três partículas: AM, IS e ARE.

 Para a forma negativa, basta acrescentar “not” após o verbo “to be” (am, is, are):

 Para a forma interrogativa, basta inverter o verbo “to be” (am, is, are), colocando-
o no início da frase:

DEMONSTRATIVES PRONOUNS (PRONOMES DEMONSTRATIVOS)

 Os pronomes demonstrativos são utilizados para indicar a posição de um objeto, se está perto ou
longe. Os quatro demonstratives são: THIS, THAT, THESE, THOSE.

 This e These são utilizados para indicar coisas que estão perto. That e Those são utilizados para
indicar coisas que estão longe.

PLURAL OF NOUNS – OTHER RULES

 Os substantivos terminados em “Y”, antes de consoante, formam o plural mudando-se o “Y” por
“IES”.

 Aos substantivos terminados em “S, SH, CH, X, Z, O” geralmente acrescenta-se “ES”.

 To form the plural of some words in English you have to change just one or two letters. (Para formar
