Os Efeitos da pandemia Coronavírus (Covid-19) nas famílias moçambicanas

A situação da Covid-19 em todo mundo foi tido como extremamente catastifico. Trata
se de uma epidemia que afectou todo mundo e que deixou dor e luto para todas nações.
Foram marcas indeléveis deixadas pela pandemia.
Moçambique não foi excepção, passou por momentos de terror, pois ninguém
imaginava que fosse algo solúvel e que ninguém tinha noção do que viria a acontecer de
forma particular às populações carentes e vulneráveis.
Foram encerradas escolas, igrejas, mesquitas, as praias, houve igualmente redução e até
despedimentos de funcionários/trabalhadores em algumas instâncias hoteleiras e outos
sectores de actividades.
Indo ao fundo dos detalhes, estamos a dizer que em termos da economia nacional ela
sentiu os efeitos da pandemia pois, baixou significativamente tendo em conta que houve
momentos de encerramentos das fronteiras em que tanto as exportações como as
importações não eram permitidas, comerciantes ficaram sem perspectivas, as
deslocações reduziam/ o nível de produção no aparelho do Estado era reduzido pois
trabalhava-se em escalas.
Em termos socias, destacava se o distanciamento onde a exigência era ficar em casa, e
só sair quando necessário, a cima de tudo, com algumas regras desenhadas, cada um
com sua máscara, proibido o abraço e única possibilidades que havia era encostando os
cotovelos e ou encostando os pés. Em cerimónias fúnebres, foi reduzido o número de
participantes, não haviam festas e comemorações, a hora de recolha era obrigatória, etc.
Como se pode ver, vivemos um momento difícil e novo para todos que por um lado
morria se pela pandemia, por outro, agressão da polícia e até a fome que afectava muita
gente. Tantos outros viram se presos pois, era difícil como é o caso da limitação do
numero de pessoas a participar em um funeral. O que fazer diante de leis que impedia
despedir se de um parente num velório? É aqui onde era difícil pois desaparecimento
repentino de um membro familiar, todos desejavam despedir se deste, seguindo todos
hábitos e costumes tradicionais da região.
Nos hospitais, foram mobilizadas equipes de profissionais de diversas áreas, para
contribuírem com seu saber para tentar abrandar os efeitos nefastos da pandemia.
The Effects of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic on Mozambican families

The Covid-19 situation around the world was considered extremely catastrophic. It is an
epidemic that affected everyone and left pain and grief for all nations. They were
indelible marks left by the pandemic.

Mozambique was no exception, it went through moments of terror, as no one imagined

that it was something soluble and that no one had any idea of what would happen in a
particular way to needy and vulnerable populations.

Schools, churches, mosques, beaches were closed, there was also a reduction and even
dismissals of employees/workers in some hotel instances and other sectors of activity.

Going to the bottom of the details, we are saying that in terms of the national economy
it felt the effects of the pandemic because it dropped significantly taking into account
that there were times of border closures when both exports and imports were not
allowed, traders were left without perspectives, the displacements reduced/ the level of
production in the State apparatus was reduced because it worked in scales.

In social terms, the distance was highlighted, where the requirement was to stay at
home, and only go out when necessary, above all, with some rules drawn, each one with
their mask, hugging was forbidden and the only possibility was touching the elbows.

As you can see, we are experiencing a difficult and new time for everyone who, on the
one hand, died due to the pandemic, on the other, police aggression and even the hunger
that affected many people. So many others found themselves arrested because it was
difficult, as is the case with limiting the number of people to attend a funeral. What to
do in the face of laws that prevented saying goodbye to a relative at a wake? This is
where it was difficult because the sudden disappearance of a family member, everyone
wanted to say goodbye to him, following all the habits and traditional customs of the
region.

In hospitals, teams of professionals from different areas were mobilized to contribute

with their knowledge to try to mitigate the harmful effects of the pandemic.
