Introdução
No âmbito da Unidade Curricular de Introdução ao Projeto Mecânico, pretende-
se fazer um levantamento informativo do produto Mobile Wheel Carriage MW80.
De seguida será realizada a especificação do produto a projetar, e será efetuado
um cálculo analítico.
A especialização de um produto baseia-se na normalização - processo de
adequação do produto a normas técnicas exigidas para o seu uso. As normas
técnicas são documentos que estabelecem requisitos técnicos para produtos,
serviços, processos e sistemas. Elas são desenvolvidas por organismos de
normalização, que são organizações independentes que representam as partes
interessadas em um determinado setor. A normalização de um produto é
importante por vários motivos de modo a garantia da qualidade, melhorar da
eficiência e promover o comércio do produto.
A análise estrutural de um produto é o processo de avaliação da estrutura física
do produto. Ela é realizada para verificar se o produto está seguro, robusto e
capaz de atender às suas funções. A análise estrutural pode ser realizada por
meio de várias técnicas, incluindo: inspeção visual, testes físicos e análise por
elementos finitos. No projeto será realizada a análise de Reações, Esforços
Transversos, Momentos Fletores, Tensões e Deformadas do Mobile Wheel
Carriage MW80.
Serão realizadas Diagramas de corpo livre (DCL), representações gráficas das
forças que atuam sobre um corpo ou conjunto de corpos. Eles são usados em
engenharia para analisar o equilíbrio.
A utilização der métodos computacionais, com fins de simulação, recurso este
que permite o estudo dos comportamentos do produto com valores mais
próximos à realidade.

Funcionalidade do Equipamento

O Mobile Wheel Carriage 80 é um elevador elétrico de pneus móvel, que permite


a montagem de rodas até 80 kg fabricado pela Blitz. É um equipamento de oficina
útil para levantar e transportar rodas de automóveis e outros veículos. O Master
Wheel 80 é equipado com um motor elétrico potente que permite levantar rodas
com um peso de até 80 kg. O MW80 também possui duas baterias recarregáveis
que fornecem energia para até 100 operações de levantamento e descida.
O Mobile Wheel Carriage 80 é um elevador elétrico com fuso um motor elétrico
e uma plataforma. O motor fornece a potência necessária para que ocorra
momento no fuso, que por sua vez, eleva ou baixa a plataforma.
O Master Wheel 80 é um equipamento versátil que pode ser usado para a
remoção e instalação de rodas, permite um manuseamento fácil, graças às suas
rodas giratórias de 360 graus. Também é equipado com um sistema de
segurança que impede que o carro se levante ou desça involuntariamente.
O Master Wheel 80 é uma ferramenta útil para qualquer oficina que trabalhe com
rodas de automóveis e outros veículos. É um equipamento seguro e eficiente
que pode ajudar a melhorar a produtividade e reduzir o risco de lesões.

Componentes principais:
1) Motor elétrico
2) Fuso roscado
3) Plataforma
4) Sistema de Segurança
5) Caixa de controle

Processo de funcionamento:
O operário pressiona um botão no painel de controle para subir ou descer a
plataforma.
O motor elétrico liga e gira o fuso.
A rotação do fuso faz com que a plataforma se mova para cima ou para baixo.
O sistema de segurança garante que a plataforma permaneça segura durante a
utilização.
A plataforma para, quando o operário pressiona o botão novamente ou quando
atinge o seu limite superior ou inferior.

Sistema de Segurança

Como referido anteriormente, o Master Wheel 80 possui um sistema de


segurança. Á vários modelos semelhantes, que tendencialmente dispõem de
três elementos principais, uma chave de segurança, um sensor de carga ou uma
chave-limite.
A chave de segurança é um dispositivo mecânico que impede que o elevador
seja levantado sem que o operador esteja presente. A chave deve ser inserida
em uma fenda na parte superior da plataforma para que ela possa ser levantada.
Caso a chave seja removida, o elevador será automaticamente descido.
O sensor de carga é um dispositivo elétrico que detecta se o elevador está
sobrecarregado. No caso deste se encontrar sobrecarregado, o elevador será
automaticamente descido. O sensor é composto por um elemento sensor e um
circuito de controle.
A chave-limite é um dispositivo mecânico que impede que a plataforma suba
muito alto. Se a plataforma atingir o limite máximo, a chave-limite será ativada
e a plataforma será automaticamente descido.
Esses três elementos podem trabalhar juntos para garantir que a plataforma
não se levante ou desça involuntariamente.

Diagrama de Corpo Livre

O Diagrama de Corpo Livre (DCL) permite estudar e analisar o efeito das cargas
no equipamento em estudo. No projeto vai ser analisado um fuso com a plataforma de
elevação. Neste caso, a parte do fuso, vai suportar e mover a plataforma de elevação.
Como o equipamento foi projetado com o intuito de executar a elevação da roda, no seu
estudo considerar-se-á que o peso da roda é na plataforma de elevação na sua posição
máxima a uma carga máxima.

Como mencionado anteriormente, o equipamento foi aproximando a um pórtico,


para fazer o estudo do Diagrama de Corpo Livre. É pretendido determinar reações dos
apoios neste DCL, existente somente no ponto A, que se encontra encastrado, onde
está inibido de deslocação e rotação.

Equilíbrio Global do Sistema Base

Como representado no Diagrama de Corpo Livre, e já mencionado, o Peso será


aplicado na extremidade do mecanismo de elevação. Como base no Manual de
Operação do equipamento, a máquina suporta uma carga máxima W de 80kg, tendo
isto em conta, será aplicada uma força pontual em D de 800 N.

Os seguintes comprimentos foram constatados com base em medições retiradas do


equipamento:

Simulação com recursos a Software’s


Após análise pelo método analítico, procede uma análise computacional,
recorrendo a dois softwares, num primeiro momento o Solidworks seguido do F-Tools,
para ser realizado o estudo computacional para descobrir os valores das Reações e
Momentos. Para a realização do estudo, foi criada uma viga onde foi aplicada forças
como foi representada no DCL.

The MW80 is supplied in a carton box ready
for operation. A suitable means of transport,
e.g. a high-lift truck, is required for transport.
Feet, handles and wheel support must be as-
sembled on the basis of the instructions.

There may be simple reasons if the lifter does not work properly. Please check the possible
causes as specified on the following pages. Call our technical service if you are unable to de-
fine the source of the problem.

9 Safety examination
The safety examination is necessary to gua-
rantee the safety of the Master Wheel upon
commissioning. This must be carried out and
certified in specified cases by a qualified per-
son.

• First safety examination: manufacturer


carries it out before commissioning.
• Regular safety examination: in regular
intervals after first commissioning, at least
once a year.
• Extraordinary safety examination: after
construction changes to the wheel assem-
bly trolley.
