CHAPTER 2 – The PREPARATION – 6 birthdays of dedication

As I told you in our previous chapter, my dear friend, I had always wanted to go to Disney World. Then, for

six years, I studied English hard, expecting it would help me fulfill my dream. After all, I had to do my part to

immersed myself in the language, listening to songs in English, renting movies, and watching films with subtitles.

I even tried covering the subtitles with masking tape to try to understand what the characters in the movies said.

So, I turned 15, had a tiny birthday party, which I didn’t mind, since all the money was being saved for my

Finally, at the age of 15, I boarded a plane to Disney, full of excitement and anticipation! My mom and dad
