Introdução
Umidificação:
Os produtos Vapotherm incorporam o patenteado sistema de cartucho de
transferência de vapor para difundir no gás respiratório corrente enquanto
aquece os gases à temperatura prescrita (geralmente 35°C a 37°C, de acordo
com o conforto do paciente). Esse sistema é fundamentalmente diferente dos
sistemas das bases de umidificação aquecida convencionais. Os
equipamentos também empregam um tubo de entrega de gás com triplo
lúmen “revestido” e cânula nasal otimizada própria que mantém a
temperatura, minimizando condensações e eliminando chuviscos. Esses dois
últimos recursos protegem o estado dos gases respiratórios para que o gás
atinja o paciente na mesma temperatura e umidificação atingidas na
membrana do cartucho.
