RESUMO
ABSTRACT
The present study aims to verify the way in which digital technologies are being used
by teachers in carrying out their pedagogical practices. To deal with social and
technological transformations, the school seeks alternatives towards the production
of a new educational praxis. The insertion of new technologies in the schooling
process requires education professionals to resize pedagogical practice, considering
new ways of learning. The school, in turn, has an invariant structure. Accelerated
technological development has been causing transformations in society and,
therefore, education needs to be a continuous process, open to challenges and
innovations. Educational technology must be used as an additional resource in the
teaching-learning process, so it is necessary to train and encourage teachers to
correctly use all this innovation. It is necessary to understand how different
technologies were inserted and appropriated, increasing and modifying the teaching-
learning processes, thus producing new ways of teaching and learning. It is important
to note that the evolution of practices that could lead teachers to a new behavior
regarding the use of technologies in their teaching activities, need to break
paradigms that have long been embedded in the Brazilian educational context.
