Heterófilos: fagocíticos e estão associados às respostas inflamatórias a
agentes infecciosos;
Basófilos: em tartarugas, com imunoglobulina na superfície, estão
envolvidos na liberação de histamina;
Eosinófilos
• Monócitos e macrófagos: As proporções destas células variam com as
estações do ano. Monócitos são observados em reações inflamatórias
a infecções parasíticas e bacterianas
