Estudos indicam que a verticalização precoce induz
alterações plásticas ao SNC que aumentam
exponencialmente o potencial de recuperação funcional
(Calabrò et al., 2015; Daunoraviciene et al., 2018; Makarova
et al., 2013)
A hipotensão ortostática é um fenómeno de disfunção
neurogénica, mas ocorre por vezes sem um fenómeno
patológico conhecido ou ainda devido a causas
cardiovasculares.
Por definição ocorre um decréscimo de pelo menos 20
Prevenção da mmHg na tensão arterial sistólica e de 10 mmHg na
tensão arterial diastólica nos 3 primeiros minutos de
Hipotensão verticalização (Velilla-Zancada et al., 2016).
Ortostática
Nos pacientes com lesão vértebro-medular a hipotensão
ortostática ocorre sobretudo devido a disfunção do
sistema nervoso autónomo (SNS e SNP).
Estudos indicam que a verticalização precoce, prepara
os pacientes para tolerarem melhor a posição de pé de
forma autónoma, prevenindo o fenómeno de
hipotensão ortostática (Daunoraviciene e al., 2018;
Sorbera et al., 2019).
