Introduction
English is a language spoken all over the world, of great importance since it is the official
language of many developed countries (United States, England, Canada, Australia, etc.).
Knowing how to speak English has become practically mandatory for anyone who wants to
enter the job market today, it is no longer a differential. English literature (mainly technical -
manuals, guides, etc.) is used all over the world, even by countries that do not have it as an
official language.
In Mozambique, most schools already offer English classes for primary school children, in
order to get them used to the second language, facilitating language learning. To improve
speech and comprehension, there are exchange programs, where the student travels to another
country (usually the United States, Canada or Australia), where he will have to deal daily with
the challenge of communicating in English - in addition to learning more about the other
culture.

General objective:
Analyze important aspects of the English language.

Specific objectives:
 Conceptualize some definitions about the English language;
 Solve exercises in the English discipline;
 Exemplify concepts of the English language;

Methodology
To achieve these objectives, a methodology was adopted based on a bibliographic search
based on several authors that appear duly cited throughout the text and mentioned in the final
bibliography of this work.
