RESUMO
ABSTRACT
This work was carried out through a bibliographical survey between the chemical
relationship between food and diabetes. About the different forms of diabetes mellitus
and clarify the cause, complications, changes, prevalence and other aspects of
diabetes mellitus. Diabetes is a chronic disease caused by a deficiency in the
production and/or secretion of insulin, which leads to acute symptoms and
characteristic chronic complications. Its disorder involves the glucose metabolism of
fats and proteins and has consequences both when it appears quickly and when it
sets in slowly. Also, informing the importance of the chemical correlation of diabetes
with food so that people are aware of what is happening.
