Aprimorando a Comunicação e
Colaboração em uma Equipe de
Projeto Distribuída através do
Mapeamento de Mente
Desafio:
visual. Pudemos ver claramente onde as lacunas de comunicação estavam ocorrendo, quais
partes do projeto estavam interligadas e onde poderíamos otimizar a colaboração.
No entanto, aprimorar a
Challenge title:
Enhancing Communication and
Collaboration in a Distributed
Project Team through Mind
Mapping
Challenge:
Selection:
To address this challenge, I selected the "Mind Mapping" design thinking tool. This visual tool
allows you to represent and organize ideas, concepts and information hierarchically, which can
help identify connections, patterns and gaps in communication.
Application:
First, I brought all the team members together in a virtual brainstorming session. I explained
the importance of mind mapping and how it could help us better visualize information and
identify areas for improvement. Using an online mind mapping platform, we started creating a
map that represented the different departments, the responsibilities of each team member,
the project milestones and key touchpoints.
During the session, each member contributed their ideas, and I organized them into a visual
map. We could clearly see where the communication gaps were occurring, which parts of the
project were intertwined, and where we could optimize collaboration.
Perception:
The insight I got from applying mind mapping was that it brought clarity and visibility to the
complexity of the challenge. We were able to identify bottlenecks in communication and
better understand how different parts of the project were related to each other. The tool also
facilitated open discussion among team members and promoted the exchange of ideas more
effectively.
Approach:
Next time, when applying mind mapping again or another similar tool, I would focus on a more
flexible framework for capturing information in real time. This could involve using real-time
collaboration tools, such as shared virtual boards, to allow team members to contribute and
view updates as they happen.
All in all, mind mapping was a valuable tool in addressing the communication and collaboration
challenge in a distributed project team. However, enhancing the approach with more real-time
interactivity and the inclusion of other design thinking techniques could lead to even more
effective results in the future.
