RESUMO
ABSTRACT
The Rhythmic Gymnastics is a sport that combines art and sporting gestures of high
complexity in a variety of events. From its evolutionary process, there was an
increase in the number of practitioners, the exercises difficulty elevation and
increased demand of the scoring system, favoring the risk of injury. In this mode, the
most obvious lesions are in the ankle joint, knee, shoulder and lumbar spine, the
most common being the ankle sprain, especially in competitive athletes. Therefore,
proprioception and muscle control play a fundamental role in dynamic joint stability
and postural balance and should be focused on training programs. Under this
assumption, the realization of sensorimotor exercise contributes to postural control,
joint stability and diverse conscious sensations. Thus, the objective of this technical
report is to present proposal for a training program, with sensorimotor exercises to
rhythmic gymnastics athletes. The development of media in DVD format, consisted of
the following: presentation: a brief summary of what will be covered in the media
proposal, theoretical: rhythmic gymnastics, motor sensory exercises, postural
stability, devices used in exercises, exercise program: Phase I, Phase II and Phase
III, End Credits: information about the authors of the media and theoretical
framework. The presentation is shown the justification and the contribution of this
stuff to the professionals, in order to instigate the curiosity of the viewer. Following
the theoretical framework presented, based on the current scientific literature,
characteristics related to rhythmic gymnastics, motor sensory exercises and use. As
the protocol used, the DVD has a sequence of exercises, divided into three phases,
according to their development, with the detailed description of each movement. The
media proposal in this technical report will enable direct practical application to the
professionals of the exercise area related to health promotion, since it will include
variables related to proprioception exercises in rhythmic gymnastics due to lack of
specific literature in that area.

1 INTRODUÇÃO
2.1.1.1 Aparelhos
