5. Objectivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes)

Aprendizagem do chinês (mandarim) básico, nas componentes da escrita, da leitura e da

compreensão e expressão oral . O curso introduz a fonética (pinyin), caracteres básicos,
noções elementares de gramática e vocabulário básico com contextualização de situações
simples do quotidiano. O curso constitui uma introdução ao mandarim e a base para o
desenvolvimento posterior dos conhecimentos desta lingua. Ao mesmo tempo, pretende-se
que os alunos aprofundem os seus conhecimentos acerca de aspectos da sociedade e
cultura chinesas e certos temas irão ser abordados como a evolução da escrita, o mandarim
e outros dialectos e linguas falados na China, entre outros aspectos.
Learning outcomes of the curricular unit

The study of basic Mandarin Chinese, in the following components: writing, reading, orality
and listening skills. The course introduces the pinyin phonetic system, basic characters, basic
grammatical notions and basic vocabulary with the contextualization of simple everyday
situations. The course constitutes an introduction to Mandarin Chinese and the basis for its
subsequent study. At the same time, it is expected that students acquire further knowledge
about certain aspects of Chinese society and culture and certain themes will be addressed
such as the evolution of writing, Mandarin and other dialects and languages spoken in China.

6. Conteúdos programáticos

Fonética (pinyin e tons)

Caracteres básicos
Noções de gramática: frases declarativas, frases interrogativas, frases negativas, uso de
adjectivos, verbos, advérbios, pronomes pessoais, pronomes interrogativos, pronomes
demonstrativos, preposições, termos de quantidade, o possessivo, etc.
Vocabulário: cumprimentos e despedidas, perguntar e dizer nomes e apelidos, perguntar e
dizer a nacionalidade, perguntar e dizer números de telefone e telemóvel, contar de 0 a
9999, fazer uma apresentação pessoal simples incluindo os membros da família, noções de
tempo: calendário, dias da semana, dizer às horas, etc.
Situações do quotidiano: fazer uma apresentação pessoal, viagens e transportes, etc

Syllabus

The phonetic system (pinyin and tones)

Basic characters
Grammatical notions: Declarative sentences, interrogative sentences, negative sentences,
use of adjectives, verbs, adverbs, personal pronouns, interrogative pronouns, demonstrative
pronouns, prepositions, quantity terms, the possessive, etc.
Vocabulary: greetings and saying goodbye, asking and saying names and family names,
asking and saying one’s nationality, asking and saying telephone and mobile numbers,
counting from 0 to 9999, doing a simple self-presentation including family members, time
notions: calendar, week days, saying the time, etc.
Everyday situations: doing a self-presentation, trips and transportation, etc.

Pratica oral, audição, escrita e leitura, com simulações de situações do quotidiano, e

também a introdução a certos aspectos da cultura e sociedade chinesa
Testes: 70%, conjunto de trabalhos de casa: 20%, apresentações: 10%
