CAMPOS DE EXPERIÊNCIAS:
CLASS 1.
1. Ask students to listen carefully to you. Recite the rhyme slowly, but with enthusiasm.
If you think the rhyme is too long for the students to memorize, only teach the
first half of it. At another time, give them the other half.
Recite the rhyme again, but with the help of the flashcards. Dramatize and make
gestures. See the rhyme below:
Chico at night
Has very good sight.
2. After reciting the whole rhyme, pass out the flashcards to the students. There
are only six flashcards, but they can hold them in twos or threes. Explain that as
they recite the sentences of the rhyme, they have to raise up the corresponding
flashcard and dramatize.
3. Practice as much as possible, but do not let the students get tired. The purpose
of this activity is to involve them as much as possible and have them enjoy the
experience. It must be lively and fun!
4. Sketchpad. Ask students to draw and color their favorite part of the rhyme. Go
around checking their progress and asking them which part they are drawing.
Help students recite the part of the rhyme they’ve chosen.

CLASS 2.
1. Hand out Worksheet 1. This activity can only be given with the guidance of the
teacher.
2. Hand out the set of pictures you have previously cut out. Read the first two
sentences of the rhyme and have the students find the corresponding picture.
Allow students some time to find the picture and paste it in the first square.
Check everyone’s work. Read the following sentences and continue. Then, hand
out Page 2.
3. In the following class, rehearse the rhyme again and do it from time to time in
other classes.
4. Extra. Help students write their names on the sketchpad and give each of them 2
or 3 possible words that rhyme with their name. Ask them to choose their favorite
one and make a drawing of themselves and the word that rhymes with their
name. When they’re done, sit in a circle and go around asking each one for their
name and the word they chose.
