LANDING DISTANCE CORRECTION FACTORS
• WET runway = Landing Distance x 1.4
• Pressure Altitude Correction = Land. Dist. + 3% Per 1000 ft. Press Alt.
• Tailwind Correction = Land. Dist. +3% Per knot of tailwind
VAP = VREF + Wind Correction. Wind Correction = 1/2 steady headwind component + all of
the gust factor (min 5 knots, max 20 knots)

Special Considerations
Use the Expanded Landing Data tables on pgs. P-4 and P-5.
Bomb On Board
Special Considerations
Descent:
— Cabin P . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Maintain 1.0 PSI
Approach:
— PRESSURIZATION MODE . . . . . . . . . AUTO
For landing, gradually reduce the differential pressure to zero
by resetting the cabin controller to AUTO on final approach.
Aircraft on Ground and Stopped:
— Accomplish Evacuation procedure, page QRC-I
— Avoid exiting on the same side of, or near, the bomb.
The reset guide does not cover all messages/faults that may be
detected. If there is a QRH procedure that covers the EICAS
message, perform it first. Any message/fault not covered by the QRH
or this guide must be entered into the aircraft logbook and reported to
Maintenance Control and/or Tech Ops personnel.
Resets performed by the Flight Crew using the QRH guidance quoted
above will be entered in the aircraft logbook as “Info Only”. The use
of “Info Only” is restricted to the reset of circuit breakers due to a
computer malfunction. As “Info Only” items, these items are the only
log items that may be left open when an aircraft departs on a flight.
They will remain open until the aircraft transits through an Azul
Maintenance station where an Azul technician will sign off the item as
“Noted”. The log item will subsequently be entered in the DASH
allowing tracking of resets.
Maintenance responsibility:
• When the aircraft transits an Azul Maintenance Station where
Azul technicians are “on-duty”, the technicians will accomplish
the following:
- While performing the routine check of the logbook, sign off
the “Info Only” log items, if any, with the action of; “Noted”,
complete the day, station, and signature blocks and remove
the required log pages.

Equipment Requirements
LVTO Operation
Regarding LVTO (Low Visibility Takeoff) operation, the following table presents
the list of required equipment, based on MEL item number.
*HGS is only required when designated in the SIDs. However, if the system is
available, its usage is obligated.

Ferry Flight
Transport of Extra Crew or Cargo in Ferry Flights must be authorized by
Flight Operations.
If the ferry flight is being executed with flight attendants, as a regular
crew, FAs will perfom the routine procedures. Otherwise, pilots will

Unpressurized Flight
BASIC STATEMENT
For flights with Air Conditioning Packs inoperative (MEL Item 21-51-00)
or not running (MEL Item 36-11-03), the following recommendations
apply:
BEFORE START
Pressurization Mode Selector Knob ...............................................MAN
Outflow Valve on MFD ECS Synoptic Page ............... Check fully OPEN
If the Outflow Valve is not fully open:
CABIN ALT Selector Knob..................................................................UP
Hold the cabin altitude selector knob UP until the Outflow Valve is
verified fully OPEN on MFD ECS Synoptic Page. If Outflow Valve
Indication is inoperative, hold the Cabin Altitude Selector Knob UP for
at least 60 s.
Except for ditching, the outflow valve should be kept OPEN during the
flight in order to avoid pressurizing the cabin. If Outflow Valve may not
be moved or is inoperative, it should be secured OPEN and extended
overwater operations are prohibited.
This procedure allows engine starts with batteries as the only electrical
power and a pneumatic source (i.e. LPU or APU bleed air).Engine
starts using pneumatic carts usually presents higher ITT value.
Basic Statements
BLEED PRESSURE
The minimum bleed duct pressure is 33 minus 0.5 psi for every 1000 ft
above sea level. Check on STATUS synoptic page the bleed pressure
before starting the engines.

RVSM Procedures
General
— Do not allow over/undershoot of the cleared FL by more than 150 ft.
— It is recommended to limit climb and descent rates in RVSM
Airspace and Transition Areas to 1,000 fpm when operating within
five (5) NM and 2,000 ft. of other aircraft to minimize the generation
of TAs and RAs.
— Report leaving/reaching assigned RVSM FL when not in radar
contact.
— Max allowable difference between primary altimeters for RVSM
operations is 200 ft. If difference exceeds 200 ft, ATC notification
and a logbook write-up are required.
— Use autopilot for cruise and flight level changes.
RVSM Contingencies
— Notify ATC.
— Maintain assigned FL, to the extent possible, evaluate situation.
— Maintain visual and TCAS watch for conflicting aircraft.
— Illuminate exterior lights.
— Weather induced altitude deviations > 200 ft.: “UNABLE RVSM DUE
(STATE REASON)”
— Loss of required RVSM equipment: “UNABLE RVSM DUE
EQUIPMENT”
— If ready to resume RVSM after aircraft system or weather
contingency: “READY TO RESUME RVSM.”
Consolidation of Knowledge
This procedure is applicable if any pilot has less than 100 hours in the
E190 at Azul.
— Consolidation of knowledge do not apply for RBAC 91 flying.
— Consider all NOTAMs and MELs and their impact on approach
minimums.
Captains in Consolidation of Knowledge [RBAC 121.652]
CAT II - NOT Authorized
CAT I
Each Flight Crew shall have at least one pilot with more than
100 hours on type. Two pilots with less than 100 hours on type
are not allowed to fly together.
Power-Down / Power-Up
Use this procedure whenever a failure or fault condition exists and a
Power-Down / Power-Up procedure is required by AzulTec or MCC.
Captain must be on his/her station during the procedure.
First Officer must be on the fwd galley during the procedure.
The Right Seat may be used by AzulTec.
Custumers must be advised from fwd Flight Attendant PA Station before
this procedure.

3. SELCAL Check
• Request and receive a SELCAL check from ARINC.
• If SELCAL cannot be received, monitor HF radio for ARINC commu-
nications.
• A SELCAL check is required each time a new HF frequency is
selected.
Example:
“AMAZON RADIO, AZUL 5432 ON 8855, OVER”
“Azul 5432, go ahead”
“Azul 5432 REQUEST SELCAL CHECK AB-CD*”
(*The aircraft-specific SELCAL code may be found on the
registration placard on the Captain’s instrument panel or on the
Audio Control Panel display by pushing the SELCAL button.)
