Resumo
Abstract: Muscle hypertropy is the process of increasing the size ando f muscles
through stimuli such as resistance training. During exercise, muscle fibers suffer micro-
injuries that promote he growth and repair of muscle tissue. This occurs due to the
body´s adaptive response to loading stimuli, resulting in increased protein synthesis,
muscle hypertrophy and icreased strength. In addition to adequate training, it is
importante to have a balanced diet and adequate rest to allow muscle recobery and
optimize hypertrophy results.
